Three poetry books later and I see how right that fortune cookie was. I have been a creative writer for more than fifteen years, and a few years ago, I became a proper poet and self-published author.
While many of my best stories have yet to be told, these are my first and most famous.

25 Sense: the poetic works of Tyree C. Worthy (2016)
I presented my passion in the form of a shareable collection for the first time in 2016. 25 Sense was my first self-published book of creative content—a daunting dive into poetry, prose, style, and flow. As I approached an existential/quarter-life crisis, I wrote about the thoughts, experiences, feelings, and moments that helped me decide what life I would live for the next 25 years.
True & Living: Poems from The Fort (2019)
A few years later, I had the itch to publish something new. I started doing writing sessions with others looking to publish or practice the craft, and this turned into The Fort Workshop. Our group project True & Living, released in 2019, features me, Sharita Sims, Joao Amos, and Noone Nobody interpreting four themes from our own perspectives.
Warm Vignettes: moments of love + sense (2019)
Around the time The Fort first began, I got the idea to take my best romantic work and give the world a new collection. This turned into a short, poetic narrative I call Warm Vignettes, soft-released in the summer of 2019. Again, this project includes different styles of writing and formatting, with an underlying prose style.

In The Works…
As COVID-19 keeps my feet idle and mind active, I predict a new Sir Worthy project in our near future. There’s so much to express, so many reasons to escape, and so many pictures to paint and be shared. I’ll be hard at work on shaping something that works for me, but for now, check out the latest editions of my personal book projects.
